Tonight Mayer and I headed down to Buddha Bodai, where we were to meet 8 soon-to-be-teachers. Only 7 ended up showing, but they were hecka cool. We walked (me, too much), and ate veggie/kosher food. I had chosen the place specifically for that. The conversation was very good, and we had a lot of fun. After we finished, we walked toward the E train, as some of them wanted to start their 1hr45minute commute. A few stuck around, though, and we went to a really cool little bar. It was half-in half-out, so we sat across the divide. The music, drinks and conversation were all really good. We eventually got moved inside, and were served birthday cake (Christina got it for her fellow CM…aww!). Then we left, and I had to run back up to get leftovers, then we got on trains. I ended up causing Kristin and I to get out and get on buses, which coulda been worse, but we managed pretty well. And had SO . MUCH. FUN.
