...was long and eventful. I started the day by reading an email asking if I knew any of Gary's personal friends. Though I wouldn't be informed of this for several more hours, Gary had died the night before...I covered this in my next post.
In the meanwhile, I attended classes, then headed out to Bailey's house to watch a video about litter safety. Then about 20 NORML members headed out to our stretch of I-70, and got to cleaning. I probably picked up 1,000 cig butts today. I think that part of the social pact should include that, if you are a smoker, you have to do road clean-up. Because I'm all for them exercising their liberty and everything, but cig butts are made of plasticose, which doesn't biodegrade. Therefore, in addition to second-hand smoke, I am also affected by them killing our collective environment. If they had to pick shit up, they would at least litter less.
This evening, I went to Ragtag to see "Grizzly Man." It was ok, but not that impressive. I guess my Ragtag bar is set pretty high. Anyway, without witnessing any audio, much less video, of the eating, I felt let down.
And now I'm at home, blogging.
