I went to the Blue Note to see Nikka Costa tonight. I hadn't heard of her before tonight, but Tyler, Ivy and Mollie wanted me to go in Sean's place. Because he had already bought the ticket and it was free to me, I took them up on her offer. Nikka is from California, and apparently she was touring with Lenny kravitz but decided to make a separate stop in Columbia (how nice of her!). It was a pretty good show. "Everybody got their something" was a good song. Tyler and Mollie danced about 3 feet from the speaker, so I hung out and drank my drink toward the back for the majority of the show. Ah well.
