I attended the J-School's Brown Bag event today. It was being held in an attempt to create a discussion regarding the partnership between Apple and the J-school, but the presenters also discussed educational technology being employed at MU as well as blogs, podcasting, and vodcasting. While my school in some senses seems behind the times, I definitely left with the impression that this group of instructors and campus leaders were ahead of the game.
Also worthy of note regarding blogs, I recently discovered that the Mizzou alumni association is employing them as recruiting tools by letting current students compose photoblogs - interesting adoption of the tecnology, and kudos to them for the forward thinking.

Yay to all that is blog.
